What it is

Polynucleotides are bio-stimulating compounds derived from purified DNA fragments that trigger your body's own cellular regeneration. Unlike fillers or toxins, they work at the deepest level, stimulating fibroblasts to produce new collagen, elastin, and healthy tissue from within.

This is one of the most advanced regenerative treatments we offer at Éclat & Harmonie, and it requires careful assessment. During your consultation, your practitioner will evaluate whether polynucleotides are the right approach for your concern, particularly for delicate areas like the under-eyes and neck where other treatments may not be suitable.

Results develop progressively over 4 to 8 weeks as tissue genuinely regenerates, with improvements continuing for months. Effects last 12 months or longer. This treatment is also highly effective for hair thinning, stimulating dormant follicles to produce new growth.

How it works

  1. Tissue assessment

Your practitioner examines the target area for signs of skin laxity, dehydration, or damage to determine the optimal injection technique and depth. This assessment ensures the treatment addresses your specific tissue concerns.

  2. Precision injection

Polynucleotide gel derived from purified DNA fragments is injected using a fine needle or cannula into areas requiring deep tissue regeneration. Placement is specific to the anatomy of each treatment zone.

  3. Bio-stimulation activation

The polynucleotides integrate with your tissue, stimulating fibroblast activity, promoting new collagen and elastin production, and improving blood flow to the treated area.

  4. Tissue remodelling

Visible improvement in skin quality, firmness, and hydration develops over 3 to 6 weeks. A course of 2 to 3 sessions spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart delivers significant, long-lasting results.

Who it is for

  • You've noticed your under-eye area looks darker, more crepey, or more hollow than it used to

  • Your skin has lost its bounce and firmness, and topical products aren't making a difference

  • You're experiencing hair thinning and want a non-surgical approach to stimulate regrowth

  • You'd like a treatment that improves your skin's biology, not just its surface appearance

Considered honestly

Best suited to

Clients seeking deep skin regeneration and bio-stimulation rather than volume or wrinkle-freezing. Ideal for under-eye rejuvenation, skin laxity, dull or tired-looking skin, and hair thinning. Particularly effective for delicate areas like under-eyes and neck where other treatments may not be suitable. Ages 30+.

Not suitable if

Pregnant or breastfeeding, known allergy to salmon-derived products (polynucleotides are typically derived from salmon DNA), active infection or inflammation at treatment site, autoimmune conditions, currently on anticoagulant medication without medical clearance.

A specialist consultation is required to assess your skin's regenerative needs and determine the most effective treatment areas and protocol. Your practitioner will explain how polynucleotides work at a cellular level and set realistic expectations.
